The SUMITOMO SH80BS-7 excavators are now even more powerful, efficient, and environmentally friendly thanks to the Space 5 Alpha diesel engine and the completely updated exhaust treatment system. The new seventh series excavators have low fuel consumption and are gentle on the environment with impressively low emission levels. The SUMITOMO SH80BS-7 excavators feature both a DPF filter system and an SCR system. The DPF system, which includes a ceramic filter, enhances engine efficiency, while the SCR system actually eliminates emissions through a chemical reaction. Since these systems are designed for eco-friendly operation and high efficiency, they offer many advantages such as self-cleaning, long service intervals, and replacement.

INTELLIGENT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

The SUMITOMO SH80BS-7 excavators are equipped with the intelligent hydraulic system SHIS Alpha. This newly developed hydraulic system delivers only as much power as needed with maximum efficiency. And with the new electronic control, the hydraulic system offers you the highest performance depending on the selected working mode.

Automatic valve stroke adjustment in the main distributor (SSC), Energy saving when lowering the boom (BES), Automatic energy saving (AES), Reduction of load on the main pumps (PTR), Automatic engine idle switching, and Automatic shutdown are systems that were used in the previous series of SUMITOMO excavators (specifically developed for SUMITOMO). Now, in the new seventh series, they have been further improved, and their efficiency has been enhanced.

The efficiency of the excavators is further increased with a Special hydraulic distributor, Electronic control system, and Energy saving when opening the arm.
