SUMITOMO HA60 W-11 ASPHALT PAVER

The SUMITOMO HA60 W-11 paver features a J-Paver hydraulic screed, which allows for smooth expansion of the working width from 2.3 m to 6 m, without the need to install additional mechanical components. This solution reduces preparatory and operational activities by up to 50%, eliminating the time for installing and dismantling extensions.

Even during the paving process, the width can be adjusted on the move, without interrupting the workflow. The design of the screed, completely free of external extensions, ensures a uniform surface and excellent asphalt density, while also preventing issues related to unevenness or level differences between the main screed and additional extensions.

STRIKE-OFF SYSTEM ON SUMITOMO

The Strike-off system, located in front of the stamps, controls the even distribution of the material and performs pre-compaction before it reaches the stamping area. This achieves a more stable and consistent laying process, regardless of the specific working conditions, ensuring higher quality of the final result.

ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT OF HYDRAULIC EXTENSIONS

The leveling board J-Paver is designed with a quick height adjustment feature for the hydraulic extensions, which is controlled with the push of a button. This allows for instant leveling when there is a deviation between the central section and the left or right extension, without the need for tools or additional manual adjustments. This ensures more precise operation and higher efficiency of the entire process.

AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF THE LAYING BOARD

The temperature settings for the heating of the J-Paver laying board are automatically controlled by the display.

HYDRAULIC SCREWS

Two hydraulic cylinders lift the frame with the augers up and down, ensuring a uniform supply of material according to the specified thickness, as well as greater precision in performing various types of paving tasks.

LIMITING PLATES

Thanks to the placement and removal of the limiting plates installed in front of the extensions to optimize the flow, the asphalt is effectively fed from the auger, allowing the machine to operate more smoothly, and the precision of the laying process is improved. The limiting plate is equipped with two lifting hydraulic cylinders to adjust the amount of material fed in front of the extension.

SYSTEM FOR MANAGING THE TURNOVER OF STAMPS AND VIBRATION

The electronic control of the rotation of the stamps and vibration is carried out through a display that shows the number of revolutions per minute in real time using a standard tachometer. The adjustment can be made both from the main control panel and from the side panels designed for the operators of the laying board.

The drive system of the asphalt paver combines the intelligent engineering solutions of YANMAR with the cutting-edge technologies of SUMITOMO, providing excellent performance and optimized fuel consumption. The YANMAR 4TN107 engine meets the requirements of the European Stage V emission standards.

REVERSIBLE SCREWS AND BELT CONVEYORS

To ensure precise and even material delivery to the laying board, the asphalt paver is equipped with reversible augers and belt conveyors with separate drives. This allows for optimal distribution of asphalt, operation with minimal material in front of the board, and smooth movement of the machine without material spillage.

REAR-WHEEL DRIVE TRANSMISSION

The paver uses an HST Direct Drive system with independent hydraulic motors for each of the rear wheels. The direct drive through a gearbox, without a transmission chain, reduces wear and increases reliability.

The engine and hydraulic system are electronically controlled, with settings that can be saved for quick one-button startup. The system maintains a constant speed regardless of the load, allows adjustment from 1 m/min, provides a smooth start, and enables flexible speed changes during operation.

TILTING BUFFER ROLLS

The tilting buffer rolls facilitate the pushing of the truck during asphalt laying and provide stable machine control without the need to detach the truck.

SIDE CONTROL PANELS

The main functions of the screed – hydraulic extensions, pavement thickness, material feed, auger reverse, stamp rotations, vibration, and temperature – are directly controlled from the side panels. An emergency stop function is also provided.

EMERGENCY MODES

The machine features several emergency modes that allow for the completion of laying or safe movement in case of engine or electronics issues.

COLOR LCD DISPLAY

The color LCD display provides clear and easy visualization of all functions, automatically adapts speed readings, and shows the steering angle. The control panel can be positioned on either side, and a front camera for monitoring the hopper can be added if desired.

SCREED LOCKING AND SMOOTH START

The automatic locking prevents the screed from sinking during pauses, and the smooth start function allows work to resume without leaving marks on the laid asphalt.
