SUMITOMO HA60 C-11 ASPHALT PAVER


The asphalt paver SUMITOMO HA60 C-11 features the innovative screed J-Paver, which allows for hydraulic adjustment of the working width from 2.3 to 6 meters, without the need for mechanical extensions. This solution significantly reduces the preparation and execution time of the project, potentially leading to up to 50% higher efficiency. The paving width can be dynamically changed even during operation, without interrupting the process. The design of the screed ensures uniform compaction and excellent smoothness of the pavement, eliminating typical issues that arise when combining hydraulic and additional extensions, and guarantees consistently high quality of the final result.

STRIKE-OFF SYSTEM ON SUMITOMO

The Strike-off system, located in front of the molds, controls the even distribution of material and performs pre-compaction before it reaches the stamping area. This achieves a more stable and consistent laying process, regardless of specific working conditions, ensuring higher quality of the final result.

ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT OF HYDRAULIC EXTENSIONS

The J-Paver leveling board is designed with a quick height adjustment feature for the hydraulic extensions, which is controlled with the push of a button. This allows for instant leveling when there is a deviation between the central section and the left or right extension, without the need for tools or additional manual adjustments. This ensures more precise operation and higher efficiency of the entire process.

AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF THE LAYING BOARD

The temperature settings for the heating of the J-Paver laying board are automatically controlled by the display.

HYDRAULIC SCREWS

Two hydraulic cylinders lift the frame with the augers up and down, ensuring a uniform supply of material according to the specified thickness, as well as greater precision in performing various types of paving tasks.

INDEPENDENT CONTROL ON THE WINGS OF THE RECEIVING BUNKER

The left and right wings of the receiving hopper can move independently, up and down. At the same time, the front part of the hopper, which can be raised and lowered, also moves automatically. Thanks to the shape of the hopper and the installation of rubber guards, in most cases, there is no spillage of material in front of the buffer rollers and the machine.

Furthermore, due to the carefully designed structure, the front part of the hopper is lower compared to other machines and offers better access for trucks, without any contact with the frame of the hopper or damage to the rubber guards mounted at the front.

INTELLIGENT TRANSMISSION AND PRECISE CONTROL

The paver is equipped with an advanced transmission, where the engine, hydraulic pumps, and drive hydraulic motor are precisely controlled by a central computer. All working parameters can be saved, which reduces the management of the machine to a maximally simplified and intuitive process. The new control system from Sumitomo provides exceptional stability in maintaining a constant speed and direction, contributing to a smoother surface due to the larger contact area of the tracks. The tiltable "bogie" of the undercarriage effectively compensates for unevenness and height differences on the road surface, including when passing over manholes. Steering is smooth and precise through automatic control of the speed difference between the left and right tracks, and the Spin Turn function allows for turning in place for easy maneuvering in tight spaces, alleys, and sharp corners, without compromising the quality of the paving.

POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE DRIVE WITH COMPLETE CONTROL OF LAYING

The drive is provided by a YANMAR-4TN107 engine with a turbocharger and intercooler, which combines Yanmar's intelligent concept with the latest technologies from Sumitomo for high efficiency and low fuel consumption, meeting the EU Stage V requirements. The rotation of the stamps and vibration are electronically controlled via a color LCD display and can be managed from both the main and side panels. The reversible augers and independently driven belt conveyors ensure even material distribution and minimal losses during operation. The machine features emergency modes for finishing or relocating in case of technical issues, as well as tiltable buffer rollers that facilitate the pushing of the truck and control of the paver during any maneuver, without the need to detach the vehicle.
