CARRYING CAPACITY AND SKIP
With a maximum allowable payload of 2300 kg, a skip volume of 1205 liters, and a water volume of 770 liters, the Thwaites 2.3-ton dumper provides excellent capacity for various construction and infrastructure activities. The hydraulically controlled rotating bucket allows for dumping in a range of ±90° (a total of 180°), enabling precise unloading from both sides without the need for additional maneuvering. The construction is made from 6 mm steel plate, reinforced with box profiles for added strength.
ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
The machine is equipped with a Yanmar 3TNV88-BWWA diesel engine – water-cooled, 3-cylinder, with direct injection. The power of 18.1 kW / 24.3 hp at 2000 rpm and a torque of 107 Nm ensure reliable, economical, and sustainable operation during prolonged use with low fuel consumption. The noise level at the operator's position is 84 LpA, contributing to a more comfortable working environment.
TRANSMISSION AND SPEEDS
The hydrostatic transmission with high and low speed ranges ensures smooth handling and excellent control in all conditions. Working speeds reach up to 5.5 km/h in low range and up to 15 km/h in high range, both forward and backward, allowing for effective operation even in tight spaces.
CHASSIS, STABILITY, AND SAFETY
The robust Kinglink chassis made of bent steel construction with three-point articulation and oscillation provides excellent stability, traction, and safety when working on uneven terrain. Fully enclosed multi-disc oil brakes with automatic wear compensation, along with the SAHR manual parking brake, ensure secure control in all working conditions. The turning radius of 7.5 m contributes to the machine's excellent maneuverability.
COMFORT, SERVICE, AND EQUIPMENT
The operator's area features an adjustable suspension seat and a high-visibility seatbelt, along with LED indicators for all critical functions. Ground-level access for servicing facilitates daily maintenance, and the fuel (24.5 l) and hydraulic (25 l) tanks are positioned low for easy refueling. All electrical components are protected to IP65/67 standards.
Standard equipment includes LED beacons, a tow hitch, a reverse alarm, and full LED lighting with daytime running lights (DRL). Optional features include road mirrors, wheel nut indicators, and sand tires.
